So, as I've said on the home page my name (at least to you folks online) is .jretion. Let's start with that.

.jretion? The hell kind of name is that? How do you even say it?

I chose the name .jretion as I think it's visually distinct, and it's unique. It means my presence online is easy to identify, if not memorable. (It is also nice that my name's rarely taken online lmfao).

How to pronounce it, though? There are many ways and really there is no one correct way to pronounce it. Here are some of the few I'm fine with, though:

• The original French pronunciation: I don't fucking know just imagine I'm saying ".jretion" in French.
• How I say it in English: JERRA-shin
• How I've heard more people pronounce it: jay-REE-shun
• What would be closest to the French pronunciation: JRESH-shun

I'm not really much of anyone, to be honest. I'm about 22 and a trans woman with numerous hobbies including programming/IT, linguistics, gaming as well as the sub-hobby of fighting games. I would say graphic design is also my passion but like, look at this mess of a site it's trash lmao. If you're curious about which pronouns are fine to refer to me as, she/her will suffice, thank you.

Oh shit. Fighting games?

Yeah, for real for real. I mainly just play Anji Mito in Guilty Gear -STRIVE- though. In my home region (East Coast of NA, or I suppose more specifically Atlantic Canada) I'm apparently considered a decently strong player. As of writing I have over 500 hours in that damn game and almost all of them are on Anji. I'm a grade-A simp for him.
